The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study for the A2 Highway Project, Bukojcani-Kicevo section, as well as other documents as required by the EBRD, were published on 11 December 2020.
After the consultations in relation to the published ESIA, and the public debate held in January and July 2021, it was recommended a part of the route in the village Dolno Strogomishte to be diverted in order to avoid the village, the houses and the local cemetery.
The ESIA Addendum for the needs of the Project was prepared in order to assess the potential implications of the revised route (realignment), at a station from km 2 + 000 to km 6 + 000.
