Transport and Communications Minister Mr. Vlado Misajlovski and the Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads Mr. Aleksandar Stojanov went on-site to check the progress of works on road resurfacing of the interchange at the entrance to Kochani.

– Road section of 1200 meters from the entrance to Kochani is being rehabilitated and resurfaced, which will cost 8.5 million denars, said Misajlovski.

The Minister also stated that 10 million euros tender had been invited for construction of 30 kilometers long Kochani – Delchevo road, emphasizing that the works were planned to commence by this year’s end.
To the question about the progress of lighting the interchanges in Kochani area, Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads Mr. Stojanov replied that in the region of Kochani and Vinica the illumination had been completed of the interchanges near v.Orizari and at the entrance of Vinica from the national road Kochani – Delchevo.
– The interchange near Kochani in the direction of Zrnovci still remains to be lighted. The Contract with the Contractor has been signed already and we are expecting them to commence the activities related to lighting this interchange, as well – said Mr. Stojanov.
