The Public Enterprise for State Roads (PESR) has completed the implementation of several important infrastructure projects in the municipality of Delchevo, aimed at improving the safety and quality of the road network. The total investment for 2025 amounts to 48 million denars.

      ☑️Reconstruction of Regional Roads

20 million denars have been allocated for the rehabilitation of a section of this road. The works include milling of the old pavement and laying a new asphalt layer over an area of 10,200 m², using a total of 1,400 tons of asphalt.

      ☑️R2341 (Delchevo – Gabrovo village)

The contractor for the construction works was the Public Enterprise “Makedonijapat.” With the completion of these projects, traffic conditions will be significantly improved, safety will be increased, and more efficient vehicle flow will be ensured.

Trajanovski: “We are building better roads for a safer future!”

Roads are not just lines on a map – they are connections that bring development, trade, and safety. At the Congress organized by the Macedonian Association of Road Engineers and dedicated to road infrastructure, where discussions focused on the future, modern planning, new technologies, artificial intelligence, and sustainable management, the Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads, Koce Trajanovski, participated as a speaker.

He emphasized that this year, with investments exceeding 500 million euros, the Public Enterprise for State Roads has implemented significant projects and put into operation the express roads Kriva Palanka–Stracin, Gradsko–Drenovo, and 37 km of the Kichevo–Ohrid motorway. Trajanovski also spoke about new projects, stating that the PESR is working on new road sections, reconstructions, as well as technical solutions for the second phase of the Skopje–Blace motorway, on new motorways that are part of Corridor 8 being constructed by Bechtel and Enka, as well as other regional connections.

He pointed out that the focus is not only on constructing new roads, but also on investing in regular and preventive road maintenance through the Road Asset Management System (RAMS), which enables smart planning and monitoring of the road network’s condition. Preventive maintenance means safer roads and lower costs – up to 50% savings.

“Our goal is clear: a modern, functional, and safe road network that connects people and creates opportunities.”
