Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads Mr. Aleksandar Stojanov, during his working visit to the municipality of Novo Selo, went on-site, together with the Mayor of Novo Selo municipality Mr. Blaze Velkov, to check the progress of works on the regional road Strumica-Novo Selo-border with Bulgaria, where the section going through the village of Novo Selo is being repaved.

This road upgrade of the 2km long section will cost 15 million denars, which will be financed with funds provided from the budget of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.

The activities on upgrading the 10km long regional road Strumica-Novo Selo-border with Bulgaria commenced last year. This is a several years long project planned with the Program for Road Maintenance of the Public Enterprise for State Roads, as project of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. It will continue in the next two years and will be an investment in total amount of 60 million denars.
