The Public Enterprise for State Roads completed the interchange rehabilitation near the village of Gorno Konjare at Kumanovo city area, thus functionally improving the transport link of the regional road R1104 to Alexander of Macedonia Motorway of Corridor X. PESR Director Aleksandar Stojanov went on site to see the completed works.

The motorway from Kumanovo city to the border crossing to Serbia could be exited to the regional road before, but the construction of this new traffic lane has now, for the first time, provided an access to the motorway Alexander of Macedonia from the regional road for the residents of this region. The works also included widening of the existing motorway exit lane and construction of additional traffic lane for the vehicles accessing the motorway on their way to the border crossing to Serbia. New standard road signage and road markings were laid at the interchange.

The twelve (12) million denars spent on the rehabilitation of this interchange were obtained under the Annual Program for State Roads Maintenance and Protection.
