Director of the PE for State Roads Vlado Misajlovski visited the southeastern region of the country today and made on-site inspection of the works at the municipalities of Lozovo, Radovis, Novo Selo, and Strumica region.
At Lozovo municipality, he and the Mayor went on-site to check the progress of the reconstruction activities on the national road Veles – Kadrifakovo.

In Radovis region, Director Misajlovski checked the advancement of final phase works on the construction of the new bridge at Zleovo.,

Next, he visited the village of Dabile in Strumica region, i.e. locations where, after the heavy rainfalls this spring, water had appeared and persistently lingered on the carriageway. PE for State Roads, in the limits of its responsibilities, had the carriageway resurfaced and paved with a new asphalt layer in length of 130m.

Director Misajlovski also had a working meeting with the Mayor of Novo Selo Municipality, Mr. Blaze Velkovski. They discussed the road infrastructure projects under competence of the Public Enterprise for State Roads, including the forthcoming rehabilitation of the regional road Mokrino – Smolari in length of four (4) kilometers. This road rehabilitation is expected to be started this year, and the works to be completed over six months period.

The 10 km long road section Strumica – Novo Selo – border with Republic of Bulgaria has been upgraded as of last year, which is a project implemented in this region under the Program for State Roads Maintenance 2014-2017. The construction of the 4km long regional road Staro Konjarevo – Novo Konjarevo was also discussed, as a project the municipality will start implementing next year.
