President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Nikola Gruevski saw the progress of works on the motorway section Miladinovci – Sveti Nikole – Stip

Prime Minister Mr. Nikola Gruevski, Minister of Transport and Communications Mr. Mile Janakieski, and Director of the PE for State Roads Mr. Ljupco Georgievski made a visit on-site to see the progress of construction works on the motorway Miladinovci – Sveti Nikole – Stip (Goce Delcev).

– The constructions works are progressing very well. For a five-month period of activities, 43 percent of the alignment has been opened, with 260 workers and 136 construction machines currently working on it. By the end of August, the machinery will double and prompt a significant increase of the number of workers, said Prime Minister Gruevski upon seeing the progress of the construction works on “Goce Delcev” Motorway.
Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads Ljupco Georgievski emphasized that over 20 km of the total of 47 km of earthworks have already been completed, which will be followed by widening of the future motorway up to the designed 28 meters width.
