Section v. Aracinovo – v. Nikustak – v. Ropalce of the regional road v. Lipkovo – v. Aracinovo was reopened today.

The rehabilitation of the dilapidated carriageway included placement of a new asphalt layer on 14.5 kilometers long and 6.0 meters wide carriageway, and rehabilitation of 0.75 meters wide shoulders on both sides of the road. For the purpose of improving the visibility and safety on the road, curves were widened on the section Nikustak – Aracinovo. The old culverts were cleaned and five new ones were constructed to ensure good drainage. Drainage channels along the left and right side of the road were also cleaned to perform their function effectively.

This rehabilitation was a 157.4 million denars worth investment, and the works were completed before the planned completion time.
